This blog is for people who have adopted a dog from Ridgeback Rescue of the US (RRUS). This blog provides a forum for you to share stories (both joys and concerns) about your adopted ridgeback. This blog is ONLY to be used for this. This is not for the discussion of rescue business. Any posts found to be in violation of this will be removed.
I was thinking about all the nicknames I have for Roadie. Just wondering if anyone else calls their dogs many different names other than the given call name.
BLOG RULES

6) Keep it positive. This blog is for all of our adopters to share the joys and concerns about their new dog. It will also be a forum for potential adopters to find out what it is like to adopt a rescue. Everyone is free to comment on any post. However, please be aware that all comments are moderated and will not be posted if they are negative or derogatory in nature.

After your post, we've been trying NOT to spoil her (as much). Hope it doesn't seem like she's completely taken over our lives...we do have a few other small interests.
Oh please don't stop spoiling her- that is expected of all RRUS adopters;) So keep up the good work- all these dogs deserve to be spoiled.
Ask anyone who has met my dogs- spoiled is an understatement. We have been known to sit on the floor while the pups snooze on the couch (refer to my blog posts from Feb 2007- the only change is we know have a sofa/love seat combo in large part so all could have a place to sit)

Amanda, I laughed so hard after seeing your post! I realized that Scott and I have developed the most ridiculous nicknames for Vic. Here is what we have (so far!): Vic-a-roo, Rooster, Vixen, Pixen, Pixy, and (my personal favorite) Miss Pickles. She gets called that when she behaves like a southern lady!

Our Gracie girl has many nicknames too. I usually call her pretty girl or girly girl. She is defiantely a mommas girl. Her dog brothers call her sister.
Morgan, aka Morgy Porgy, wants to know when Roadakins is coming to visit her again.
