This blog is for people who have adopted a dog from Ridgeback Rescue of the US (RRUS). This blog provides a forum for you to share stories (both joys and concerns) about your adopted ridgeback. This blog is ONLY to be used for this. This is not for the discussion of rescue business. Any posts found to be in violation of this will be removed.
Brought Bacchus home on Dec. 27th and although very timid and wary for a while, he has blossomed and loves his new home. Thank goodness he enjoys snow, since that is all we have been having in Michigan right now. He loves all people, is gentle with everyone and has gained 6 lbs! Thank you RRUS for the gift of Bacchus who is the most loving dog anyone could have.

However, please be aware that all comments are moderated and will not be posted if they are negative or derogatory in nature.

So glad Bacchus is doing so well! I am surprised to hear he likes the snow, but that sure is a good thing. I am glad he is putting on some weight. You will have to post a picture.

Aren't these Ridgies wonderful! I just loved his picture on the RRUS adoption site and knew someone would be as lucky as we are with our wonderful rescue, TJ. So happy for your family.
Welcome to the blog. Glad to hear Mr B. is enjoying his new home. I'd love to see some pics of him in the snow.
