This blog is for people who have adopted a dog from Ridgeback Rescue of the US (RRUS). This blog provides a forum for you to share stories (both joys and concerns) about your adopted ridgeback. This blog is ONLY to be used for this. This is not for the discussion of rescue business. Any posts found to be in violation of this will be removed.
BLOG RULES
Here are some general rules we should keep in mind when posting to the blog. These rules are here to protect both you and the dogs.Moderators have the right to edit and delete posts. If violations of these rules are found, expect your post to be edited or deleted.
If we find any derogatory, negative or inflammatory postings on this blog the offenders posting privileges and/or membership to this blog will be suspended or revoked.
Remember - this is a private blog run by RRUS for use by our adopters. You are a member at our invitation. All invites are at the discretion of RRUS.
General posting rules:1) It is better to speak (write) in general terms on the ânet rather than specifics.
2) Only use first names in your postings.
3) Only use state names.
4) Do not post your address or telephone numbers on the blog.
5) Give a general background on the dog
6) Keep it positive. This blog is for all of our adopters to share the joys and concerns about their new dog. It will also be a forum for potential adopters to find out what it is like to adopt a rescue. Everyone is free to comment on any post. However, please be aware that all comments are moderated and will not be posted if they are negative or derogatory in nature.

I think it's a great idea.
What a great idea!! If the board is interested in doing this, I'd be happy to set it up (unless someone else wants to do it of course!)
i was wondering the same thing. i suppose the proper thing would be to have the board approve, then anyone can set it up.
