Annual Shots
I got some great news this morning. The state legislature finally passed a 3 yr rabies bill. It's on the way to the governor for his signature.
Just checking to see how many other states/areas already have this kind of law on the books?
Have a great weekend- Amanda

Illinois has had three-years for rabies and distemper since I was a kid. It's a wonderful thing and saves me about $70 every two years per dog. Now, if they could create a three-year kennel cough -- that's the vaccination they hate.
Texas (in most areas) allows 3 year rabies. There are few areas that have high rabies numbers that still require yearly but, for the most part, it's legal to get it every three years.
In Massachusetts the first shot is for one year and then they can go to every three years.
North Carolina is 3 years also.
