Exciting News
I had to share the most wonderful news- ROADIE IS A THERAPY DOG. I received his acceptance letter in the mail today. This has been my dream for him since we adopted him back in 2007. He has such a HUGE heart that it would be shameful not to share him with others.
Thanks to RRUS for saving him- and especially to Jody, his fabulous foster mom, who chose us as his forever home.
Stay tuned for what we do next- his also has his AKC PAL# so we can participate in AKC events.

Congratulations Roadie! I hope some day TJ can follow in your footsteps. Taylor and TJ are going for their CGC right now and only aspire to the TDI. Trainer says TJ is more the class clown and would be good for reading therapy and such whereas, Taylor is calmer and would be good in therapy. Perhaps you can 'teach' them stuff.

Congrats to Roadie! How proud you must be. We remember when we first met Roadie, he was in training. We just met you and Roadie when we came to your house pick up our Gracie. What a sweet boy! Hugs to all!!
Having met both Taylor Sue and TJ, I think your trainer is spot on- and no doubt both will be successful in whatever you attempt. the therapy dog test incorporated all of the CGC test. Please keep us updated on your progress.
Oh yes I remember- Gracie had been to my house for a visit a few times before she finally came for her adoption day. I had a friend who makes these wonderful dog beds- Gracie loved the one I had so much we just let her have it. She would race over to it and claim it before anyone else could.
It's great to hear (and see) these former rescue dogs reaching the potential that they always had.

YAY Roadie and Amanda. Congratulations. Roadie will be a great ambassador. Who couldn't love that big boy:)
