Mountain day hike with Hannah and Cheever
Hi, everyone,
Took in a New Year's Day hike with Hannah and Cheever today. They got to play in the mud, swim in the mud, and carry mud into my car and house. And the foothills were pretty dry, too!
Here's a link to show you the general region we hiked:

The dogs had a good time. I only hiked about 3.5 miles, but they ran circles around me most of the time, chased some ground squirrels, and got to run up and down some 50 to 60-degree bedrock and dirt slopes. They're, not surprisingly, asleep now.
Here are some photos of the dogs and some of the scenery:

In other great news, Hannah's ringworm bald spot is almost gone. It's amazing how long its taken for the fur to grow back, but it's about 15% of its original size. She lost that fur back in August.
But check out the photos. I only uploaded one of the dogs (only one turned out) but uploaded a few of the scenery.
David

Sounds fun. I think we've found your secret to the super shine that your dogs' coats have- a MUD BATH!
The scenery is as beautiful as the dogs.
Awesome pictures, David, as usual! We love your posts. Melissa
