This blog is for people who have adopted a dog from Ridgeback Rescue of the US (RRUS). This blog provides a forum for you to share stories (both joys and concerns) about your adopted ridgeback. This blog is ONLY to be used for this. This is not for the discussion of rescue business. Any posts found to be in violation of this will be removed.
Zuri, exhausted after a fun day just living. She always seems to have such a "joie de vivre." I think she'll always be kind of puppy-like because of that. While Tessa, our other ridgie, always seems to be very regal and composed, this goof-off Zuri is always a lark. Just thought this picture was cute... Happy Thanksgiving to all!

I love your pics of Zuri. She is truly a rescue success story- from start to finish. She was meant to be your dog. For me, that is the beauty of RRUS' adoption process- they truly match you up w/ the perfect dog. I adore Roadie and can't imagine him in other home. I think he feels the same way :)
That is one seriously peaceful ridgie. Sometimes I feel just like I did when my kids were young - they are sooooooooo adorable when asleep.
She makes me want to curl right up next to her peaceful, cuddly self. Beautiful. Thanks for sharing!
