This blog is for people who have adopted a dog from Ridgeback Rescue of the US (RRUS). This blog provides a forum for you to share stories (both joys and concerns) about your adopted ridgeback. This blog is ONLY to be used for this. This is not for the discussion of rescue business. Any posts found to be in violation of this will be removed.
IF YOU CANNOT INDENT A CHEW TOY WITH YOUR THUMBNAIL, IT IS TOO HARD FOR CANINE TEETH AND WILL BREAK THEM. TAYLOR FRACTURED THE LARGEST MOLAR - UPPER 4TH PRE-MOLAR AND WILL NEED AN EXTRACTION OR MAY BE ABLE TO GET A ROOT CANAL. WE ARE GOING TO CSU, (COLORADO STATE UNIV. VET SCHOOL) PROBABLY NEXT WEEK TO SEE WHICH IT WILL BE AND HOPE FOR A CANAL. SHE BROKE HER TOOTH ON A NYLABONE.

Tennis balls are the way to go. 70 cents each, tons of fun, nifty smell, readily losable.
Great reminder: although I'm sad that Taylor has to go through all that. Bless you for taking him to the college though. Let us know how it turns out!
