Back-to-back snoozing.. Telling RR secrets.. Nose-to-nose smooching
We just adopted our second Ridgeback from RRUS and have discovered that two Ridgebacks are ten times more fun that one! We weren't planing on having two - Keto was supposed to be with us for a short period of time, but he decided he belonged with us. Sometimes life doesn't unfold according to our plans, especially when there's a Ridgie tugging at your heartstrings.
Our pack is now complete with Keto and Katoula. They are the best of friends and the best of dogs. We are blessed to have them. Keto will be six in a few weeks and we have much so celebrate with this fabulous boy. He apparently has not heard the phrase, "you can't teach an old(er) dog new tricks" because he is has learned many new things in his new home. We all have. Katoula has been with us for just over six months and has blossomed in a beautiful confident silly princess. Keto is our stately prince charming. May they live happily ever-after!
Two Ridgies aren't twice the work, but they definitely are way more fun!

Those have to be some of the cutest pictures I have ever seen. They almost make me tempted to get a second one. Ridgies rule, good luck with them both.
Two ARE better than one (and four are better than two!) :-) I love that Miss Kat has a male dog to entertain her. They look very happy together. And, your ear-to-ear smile comes through loud and clear in your post. Happy, happy days to Kat & Keto & the entire family - you are whole now!!!
I love the "telling secrets" pic. Glad that Kat and Keto have found their forever home and that your family is complete- what a wonderful thing.
Oh Lvrnoserdgie- the temptation will take hold and you'll be a two RR family yet. Guess you know where to go for adoption!!
It happened to me- had a need for another Ridgie. RRUS met my need.

and kito is just a sweetie and is just a cute ridgie.reminds me so much of solomin.hes so welcoming to people and is just an amazing ridgeback! i love those cuties!

Couldn't agree more about 2 RR's R 10X's More Fun Than 1. We just adopted Zuri, our second RR and it's just so much fun to be with them and watch them play together. It's even better than I thought it would be. I wonder what three would be like... ha ha ha, just kidding. Well, not quite, but not yet anyway.
