Stoney looks wonderful. I can't believe he has already been there three months.
I can't thank you enough for considering an older RR to adopt. I think they get looked over b.c people are afraid they can't adapt to a new home at an older age.
Stoney blows that myth out of the water. He looks pretty much adapted in that picture of him on the couch!
Thanks for sharing.

We have Allie aka "footsie" the puppy with the white paws. We brought her home to Indiana on Dec. 15th. She has adapted well and is a joy. Obedience class was a breeze for her. She enjoys playing with our kids and our 10y/o ridgeback. She has found every sunspot in the house and lays on the heat registers. As it warms up she has enjoyed our back deck and going on walks around the neighborhood. We are all happy to have her apart of our famiy. she is our first rescue dog and I would gladly do it again. Thank you for putting up pictures of her dad. It is nice to know about her family.
The Hoards
Stoney was one of 9 dogs surrendered to rescue by a back yard breeder who could no longer afford to feed them. One of the females was pregnant- from the information gathered, Stoney was the father of this litter.
Thank you for the update on Stoney's pup, Allie. If she is anything like her daddy- she'll be a total joy for years to come.

Love the bookends on the couch. One of the cutest pictures I've ever seen.
Congrats on adopting Stoney. The mature ones sure melt your heart and have so much love to give.
Thank you for sharing such wonderful pictures! It is heartwarming to see that Stoney went to such a great place. What a life he's had - and what a life he got with you! Congratulations to all.
