Niblett

We are enjoying every single day with Niblett. After an interesting homecoming she is feeling comfortable day by day. She is such a good dog and we hardly even know she is around most of the time. Thank you to Olivia and RRUS for helping us adopt a Ridgeback and also a big thank you to Claudia for making the trip or trips I should say. We look forward to our new family member.

Shade (??) Tree

I generally like to lounge under a shade tree, our boys (Clifford and Duke) don't seem to care that there isn't much SHADE or TREE! But, the tree does have a good view of the YARD and the road!!

Nap Time !!

Take a look at my two sleepyheads Gracie (left) and Angus (right). I just came in from outside playing with our 10 year old cattledog Jake, and found these two sad sacks sleeping on the couch. Outside is to much exercise and they wanted to come in after 15 minutes. They both were staring at the back door form the yard as if it would magically open and let them back inside. I let them in and a half hour later this is what I found.

Why?????

Why is it that the dogs head for the nearest dirt pile right after a bath? I guess laying on the fairly clean grass would be too much to ask.

For those of you who don't know the two sunbathers...That's Morgan with the liver nose and our rescue Curtis with the black mask. They are inseparable bookends as you can see.
